I have always wanted to pick my food...apples, berries, you name it. But I have never gotten to do it. Living in Texas, there just aren't that many farms or orchards around that grow things for you to come and pick. This year, though, I've found one! And who knew it was just a few minutes from us! A couple friends of mine and our kids headed out to Moorehead's Blueberry Farm to pick blueberries. Even though it was scorching hot, it was so much fun! 
The kids loved picking *and sampling* the blueberries!
I can't wait to try out some new recipes
with my bucket of blueberries!
