Brayden's Baseball Birthday Party

We celebrated Brayden's 4th birthday with a Baseball Birthday Party.  We had lots of fun with ballpark food...hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts and other fun treats.  The kids had fun in our game "Pin the Ball on the Bat" and then getting candy from the baseball pinata.  It was a fun day!
The cupcakes were topped with baseball whistles for everyone.

The night before his birthday, Jonathan put together Brayden's
first big-boy bike.  Thank goodness for internet tutorials to help
you at midnight!  Fun times being a dad!

Oh the excitement while waiting for his birthday present!
Happy 4th Birthday, Brayden!

It's Summertime!

So far, this summer has been great...even in the Houston heat!  We've had lots of relaxing time, which has been great being pregnant.  We've been out of town or had family visiting a good amount of the summer.  I can't believe we're just a couple weeks from August...slow down, summer!

For Memorial Day, we got to hang out with some friends
who have some fun water slide inflatables for the kids to play on.

We've gotten to go to several Astros games this year.  At this game,
I cheered for the Astros...the boys cheered for the Dodgers.
He really loved the cotton candy!

Earlier this summer, we had a kickoff party for our student ministry
and I made shirts for all the Youth Staff kiddos to wear with the
Second Students logo.  L-R: Joshua, Brayden, Jett and Harper
It was an attempt at a picture, but none of the kids were that into it.  Ha!
At our summer kickoff, we had a Crawfish Boil and to go along
with the cajun theme, Jonathan brought in a guy that had alligators!
We all got to hold it for a minute!  Agh!!!

Christmas in Oklahoma

So, I know this is WAY late, but better now than never.  Here are our pictures from our time in Oklahoma over the week of Christmas.

He was so excited!  I love his expressions!

We were so excited we got to see Erin, Jared, and Emsleigh
while in Oklahoma.  Brayden loved getting to play w/ Emsleigh for awhile!
Sweet cousins
Tea with the girls!

Sara, Amy, and me

Big family picture of everyone...I love Christmas!

It was such a special treat to get together with some high school friends
while in town.  Melissa and her hubby were back from Honduras,
which was a great surprise to hang out with them while they were back in the U.S.

We got to see the entire Wilson family while in town.
It was so great to see their whole family.
We grew up doing everything together,
and it had been too long since we all hung out!
Amy and Bekah are 10 years younger than Katie and I.
When we were little, we took a very similar picture holding Amy & Bekah
...when they were babies.  They were a *little harder to hold this time.  Ha!
Go Sooners!!!
One of Brayden's favorite things to do this trip was getting
everyone to play drums with him.  See ALL the pictures below...
...with Nanny & Grandpa
...with Papa
...with Amy
...and with everyone else who would play with him!

He's quite a cutie in those glasses, I might say!
