red carpet for Premiere Weekend '09!
This weekend is Premiere Weekend for our student ministry here at Second Baptist Church. We were super excited to roll out the red carpet and offer an exciting weekend to bring hundreds of students together from all over Houston to grow in their faith and have a lot of fun doing it! We partnered with Student Leadership University and Leadership Rocks to bring a high-energy weekend with Dr. Jay Strack, Alex Himaya, and Brent Crowe. The students are staying in homes around the area then joining up for large group sessions at the church. So far, it's been an amazing weekend with many students accepting Christ and making life-changing decisions. I can't wait to see what God does next!

I'm so glad your weekend is going so well. It would be great if we could get Jay Strack here!! Now about that precious baby!! Is he the cutest or what?! He just smiles on cue!!! I love him!
