Grayma & Graydaddy's Visit

Earlier this summer, Jonathan's parents came in town for a few days.  It was so great to have them here visiting.  I can't believe I'm this behind on posts, but better late than never, I guess!  Being pregnant all summer has kept me busy getting everything ready for the baby!  While Mike and Dixie were here, Brayden and I went with Dixie - aka Grayma - to the Children's Museum.

Graydaddy has a way of making Brayden crack up.  I LOVE it!
One day, we went out to a local blueberry farm
to pick blueberries.  It was HOT, but we got lots
of delicious blueberries!
We love you, Grayma and Graydaddy!

Brayden's Baseball Birthday Party

We celebrated Brayden's 4th birthday with a Baseball Birthday Party.  We had lots of fun with ballpark food...hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts and other fun treats.  The kids had fun in our game "Pin the Ball on the Bat" and then getting candy from the baseball pinata.  It was a fun day!
The cupcakes were topped with baseball whistles for everyone.

The night before his birthday, Jonathan put together Brayden's
first big-boy bike.  Thank goodness for internet tutorials to help
you at midnight!  Fun times being a dad!

Oh the excitement while waiting for his birthday present!
Happy 4th Birthday, Brayden!

It's Summertime!

So far, this summer has been great...even in the Houston heat!  We've had lots of relaxing time, which has been great being pregnant.  We've been out of town or had family visiting a good amount of the summer.  I can't believe we're just a couple weeks from August...slow down, summer!

For Memorial Day, we got to hang out with some friends
who have some fun water slide inflatables for the kids to play on.

We've gotten to go to several Astros games this year.  At this game,
I cheered for the Astros...the boys cheered for the Dodgers.
He really loved the cotton candy!

Earlier this summer, we had a kickoff party for our student ministry
and I made shirts for all the Youth Staff kiddos to wear with the
Second Students logo.  L-R: Joshua, Brayden, Jett and Harper
It was an attempt at a picture, but none of the kids were that into it.  Ha!
At our summer kickoff, we had a Crawfish Boil and to go along
with the cajun theme, Jonathan brought in a guy that had alligators!
We all got to hold it for a minute!  Agh!!!
