Cruise 2011

This past week, we went on vacation on a Carnival Cruise to Mexico.  It was such an amazing and relaxing time to just get away from everything and have lots of down time to just hang out.  We headed out on the Carnival Triumph out of Galveston.  It was a fun afternoon and evening as we headed out, then Jonathan started feeling a little seasick at dinner.  We had tried the natural ginger pills...worked for me.  Not so much for him.  Not good.  After a long evening of feeling (and getting) sick and the blessing of some seasick meds, he was good to go the next day.

The rest of the trip was amazing.  We had a day at sea and then spent a day in Progreso, Mexico.  We got massages on the beach, shopped in the marketplace, and just relaxed!

Such a beautiful view out over the ocean.

The mini-golf on the ship was great...our competitive natures came out!

Getting ready for formal night...

Our waiters sang and danced each night.

Each night after dinner, we would come into our room
and our bed was turned down and there were chocolates on our pillow
and a towel animal was waiting for us.  We cracked up when we saw
the middle one just chillin' on my pillow wearing my glasses.  So creative!
Welcome to Cozumel!
We did an amazing excursion in Cozumel
where we got to swim with dolphins.
It was incredible!  Pictures to come!
After our dolphin excursion, we took a taxi down to a beach
and laid out relaxing for the rest of our day in Cozumel.

In the shopping/eating area by the cruise dock in Cozumel.
I made him try on the big boots!
When we came back to the ship,
there was another one docked for the day as well.
We made sure to get on the right one!

Our room on the cruise ship had a private balcony with chairs.
We loved sitting out there and watching the waves and beautiful
views.  The last night, the clouds were absolutely incredible.
It's amazing to see God's creation and how beautiful it is!

Looks like a super-fun time! So glad Juan found relief from his sickness--- I HATE puking! And I'm glad you enjoyed the miniature golfing! Our game was a DISASTER thanks to wavy seas when we played! :-D
