For the last couple years, I've been compiling pictures...THOUSANDS of pictures. I didn't really know what to do with them. Printing individual pics is expensive and ends with massive amounts of picture albums. Scrapbooking takes too much time. So, I knew I wanted to do an album that I put together online, and I'd heard about this great site from a friend and saw her amazing book, and I knew I wanted to make one from the same site - Blurb.
It's taken me awhile to actually finish the albums, but I AM DONE! And I must say, they turned out amazing! There are several great things I loved about it...My album is nearly 400 pages! It fit the entire year into one album...and allowed me to put TONS of pics in. It also links up to my blog and imported all of my blog posts and pictures into my book. I didn't have to manually type it in...GREAT! It also allows a lot of custom formatting and playing around with layouts, which the former high school Yearbook editor in me loves! However, it also has tons of pre-made layouts to make it easy to put your book together.
My nice thick 400 pages albums...I LOVE it!
One thing that I added into the pages was both Jonathan
and my Twitters from throughout the year. It added a fun
element "into our thoughts" of that day,
and it brings back some great memories!
