A Hilarious Moment...

Brayden loves his Paci!  Thankfully, he doesn't need/want it all the time, but at this moment, he REALLY wanted it.  He was doing everything he could possibly do to get it back in his mouth.  I was cracking up watching him try to get it. Sometimes he's pretty successful in this.  What can I say, we have a talented son!

A success!

A Night of Basketball

Each Monday night, Jonathan plays in a men's basketball league at our church.  This week, Brayden and I went to watch the game.  Brayden cheered VERY loud for his Daddy...it was great!  Jonathan's team came home with the victory - woohoo!

Parent-Child Commitment

This weekend was Parent-Child Commitment at church.  This is a time where we, as parents, stood in front of the congregation and committed Brayden to the Lord and promised to raise him in a godly home.  It was also a time for the church to commit to pray for us as parents and to walk alongside us as we raise our children.

During the prayer at the end of our time on stage, Brayden decided to start preaching.  Haha!  He was talking the ENTIRE prayer!  After the prayer, everyone was cracking up!  It was pretty funny, and we were glad we could
give everyone a good laugh.

Mark Terry, our pastor, came over to thank
Brayden for his comments during the prayer.

Tennis Nationals!!!

This weekend, my mom (Brayden's Mimi) and Aunt Pam headed to Tucson, AZ for the National Championships for their USTA tennis team.  Congrats, Mom!!!  Brayden wanted to wish you good luck with this picture.

Another very cool thing...Mom & Aunt Pam were featured in an article for the tournament...so exciting!  Check out the article here: Sister Act.  They definitely are inspiring to me, and we wish them GOOD LUCK!!!

Pumpkin Patch Time

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today!  One of our local churches has a field full of pumpkins that they bring in each year.  It was a beautiful day today, so we headed out to pick out a couple pumpkins.

Texans Game

This past Sunday, we got to go to a Houston Texans game.  It was Brayden's first NFL game (as well as mine).  It was the perfect day and a pretty good game.  Luckily, the Texans beat the Lions 28-21.

Brayden got to hang out in his Baby Bjorn.
He liked facing out and seeing the game.

We Have a Sports Fan!

Brayden is now sitting in his Bumbo seat which helps him sit up.  It is so funny, he will sit in his seat and just look all around.  With this, another thing he has discovered is the television.  He will sit there and just stare at the TV.  He is so captivated by it!

Tonight, I had the TV on the Food Network...Brayden was NOT interested.  Jonathan changed the station to the baseball game, and suddenly Brayden started fussing.  It wasn't because it was on the game, but Brayden's Bumbo seat was turned toward US on the couch.  He was craning his neck in order to see what was going on on the TV!  We turned him around, and he was so intrigued by what was going on with the game.  He was quiet and content...so funny!

Boomer Sooner!

Today is the OU vs. Texas game.  We're cheering hard for the Sooners!  Brayden decided to get decked out in his OU gear to help cheer them on.
Here's a couple pics...

The time is flying by!

Well, I can't believe it...he is almost 3 months!  The time is flying by faster than I could ever imagine!  He seems to be getting bigger by the day, and each new day surprises us with new skills that this little guy is tackling.  Here's a few pics from this past week...

A pic with Daddy...my two boys

Chillin' in his Bumbo in his Disney outfit from Grayma

What a BIG smile!

My little mover...he started out on the mat and scooted his way off the mat and all the way upside down.  I was doing a workout video while just watching him move.
It was hilarious!
